Because you don't need Make-Up to Cover-Up!
I saw her today; like I do every day. To my utter surprise, she seemed content. She had an unusual glow on her face, a smile which had a romantic story hidden to its depth, and a glint in her eyes which spoke of both apprehension and passion. These days, she keeps her blonde hair open, applies kohl in her eyes, wears her lipstick, and fancies looking at herself in the mirror at least seventeen times a day. She has started using the bentonite clay mask over her face, putting a layer each of foundation, primer, the BB Cream, and the bronzer before stepping out of the house and applying the rose water before going to bed. She has bought three slim-fit jeggings, got four of her tops tailored, so they accentuate her feminine form even more, and she has stolen my favourite perfume bottle from my cupboard. Hi,
ReplyDeleteI came across Bushra’s Facebook profile in Mark Dawson’s SPF group, and would like to float an idea past you.
SPF recently released podcast (SPS #156 - 7 Billion Readers, and How to Reach Them) which has inspired me to make my first (and so far, only) book available globally. It would be amazing to tap into the growing appetite for English language books - particularly in the massive Asian and South American markets.
My book – Mother of Millennials – is non-fiction, and covers global themes such as parenthood, education, mental health, employment, the environment and LGBT rights. However, it contains many references that would be meaningless to people outside the UK. I’m hoping to overcome this challenge by producing companion guides that explain and expand on the subjects covered. I want each guide book to be tailored to the local market, and written in a combination of English and the local language. My ultimate goal is to engage readers across the world, and facilitate cross-border conversations about the important issues covered.
India is one of my key target markets. Would you be interested in working with me on this project? It will be funded by 50:50 royalty share of books sold through amazon.in.
I hope to hear back from you soon.
Kind regards
Kath Mortimer
